Powerplay Magazine Big news on the UK AOR front this month is the reunion of ex-members of cult Welsh AORsters Kooga in the excellent new band Hand Of Dimes. With Nev MacDonald and Neil Garland working together for the first time in well over twenty years, it us all misty eyed here in AOR towers. Whilst Hand Of Dimes won't be churning out "AcrossThe Water" or "Gabrielle" part two, fear not as this new outfit is rather good in it's own right. The obvious comparisons would have to be Red White & Blues or even Skin as Hand Of Dimes inhabit the bluesy style that both those bands are soaked in.
Just listen to the epic "Jacob's Ladder" the hard rocking "Looking at you" or the soft rocking vibe of "Angels And Demons" for further proof of this bands worth. Powerplay Magazine
